House calls

Pastors still make house calls! It's important for your pastor to get to know you, and your home is a comfortable, relaxed setting for a get acquainted meeting. The pastor will want to meet with you in your home when you are discussing a baptism or learning more about church membership. The pastor will also want to meet with you and family members in your home when when a baptism, wedding, funeral, or other services associated with a major life transition is being planned.

Hospitals and Nursing Homes

The pastor wants to make regular visits to members and friends of the congregation who are hospitalized or in nursing homes or other institutions. It used to be that the hospital or nursing home might call the pastor to let the pastor know a congregation member is there. Those days are gone! Now, we need you or a family member to call the pastor to make sure the pastor knows. Then the pastor can make a visit.
